Battery helpers

Battery helpers are reminders that plan the charge around your day. There are three, they live on one screen in Settings, and every one of them stays off until you turn it on — an instrument shouldn't nag by default.

Keep a floor

The safety net. Pick a level, and if the battery drops there while unplugged, ChargeLog says so — "below your 30% reminder, plug in when you can." Nothing more clever than that, which is the point.

Charged by a time

Tell it a level and a deadline — 80% by 9:00 — and it works backwards from your recorded charging rates to the latest reasonable plug-in, then nudges you then: "Plug in your phone by 7:40 to reach 80% by 9:00." The plan comes from your own sessions, so it reflects your charger and your habits, not a spec sheet's optimism.

Get me to a time

The other direction: tell it when your day ends, and it watches whether the battery will last that long at your usual drain — warning you to top up only when the projection says you won't make it. This one leans on learned usage, so until your history covers enough of the day it plainly says "Learning your usage" instead of guessing (see Estimates & learning).

Quiet plumbing

Helper nudges arrive on their own notification channel, separate from recording, so Android's per-channel controls apply: silence them, or shut the channel off entirely, without touching anything else the app does.
